A fun project that I involved in during my time at Elon University was to build the site for the 2012 Koch Cup with one of my classmates, Emily Kamishke, and one of my professors, Randy Piland. The project was a special one for me, as I am an Eagle Scout. Working in some way with the BSA was a lot of fun, and reminded me of some of the fun adventures that I got involved in when I was younger.

The site itself is responsive, with custom designs for mobile phones, tablets and computers. The site features several galleries and videos that Scouts could view. As some of these videos and galleries were Flash-based, we developed a system that swapped Flash galleries for HTML5 specifically for viewing on mobile devices. The project was challenging, especially as it happened concurrent to my studies, but was a rewarding experience all the same.
