A few years ago, I started a little side project because I was bored — what would become Friday Night Films. Over the past four years, I’ve produced video content for YouTube in an effort to become famous and find true love — seeing success with the latter, as my wife is featured in a few videos.

Though none of the Friday Night Films have gone viral per se, I’ve still seen a lot of success from the project, and they even helped me land my first gig out of college. To date there’ve been more than 15,000 independent views on my YouTube channel and several of my videos are up to thousands of views.

Though Friday Night Films has been on hiatus since I started my masters program, it remains a favorite of the many projects I’ve worked on. I’m looking forward to starting the videos back up this summer and having a chance to apply the skills I’ve acquired through the interactive media program.
