• Task: Record the lifestyle and traditions of the Boruca tribe of Costa Rica

While researching the Boruca tribe in Costa Rica I was given the esteemed position of cameraman. I was the lucky one who got to carry 60 pounds of video equipment through the jungle and up the side of a waterfall to capture video to show the world who exactly the Boruca people are.

I maintained all the equipment and shot much of the video while my team was in Costa Rica, and aside from not really knowing a lot of Spanish, helped coordinate and conduct the interviews with the native people.

After returning from the jungles of Costa Rica, I helped edit the video in Final Cut X and put it into our shadowboxes on Boruca.org.
