I’m registering my blog with Technorati, because I want everyone over there to realize that I’m a fail blogger. I know they don’t care much about what’s going on here, but I hope that I’ll be able to use the Technorati experience for a future post.
I recently decided that I was going to take chriskirkham.com in a different direction. Since I started the site I’ve gone from journalism student to freelance journalist to unemployed journalist to online marketer. And yes, I do feel a little bit like I sold my soul when I got hired to be a professional blogger. However, the fact of the matter remains that I am no longer a watchdog for the people and that instead of become one of the hounds of hell- spamming the world out one site at a time. This blog is an attempt to redeem myself for assimilating into a world full of spammers, liars, cheaters and thieves- simply to pay rent. I’ve decided to make this blog and expose of the SEO/Online Marketing world and to point out the tactics and scamminess that exists there.
I’m still going to keep making music and movies, and I’ll definitely still be doing the posts to go along with that, but right now, I feel like I need to focus on making the Internet a better place. Less scammy for sure.
I feel good about this. I do.
